A graduate of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Bill Voss represents clients throughout the Houston, Texas, area as an attorney. In addition to his work as an attorney, Bill Voss supports diabetes research. To this end, he recently took part in the inaugural Pete Rose Golf Gala.
In 2016, Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader Pete Rose brought a charity golf event to Houston’s Wildcat Golf Club. The first-ever Pete Rose Golf Gala welcomed 300 golfers on a first-come, first-served basis to enjoy a day of golf, food and beer, silent auctions, entertainment, and more.
Most importantly, the event served as a fundraiser and advocacy opportunity for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Tickets to the gala’s dinner and auction sold for $89 dollars, while sponsorship tickets ranged from $225 to $2,500. A portion of the proceeds was directed to JDRF, the global leader in type 1 diabetes research.
